Green Certification™
Green Certification™ is a premier commercially available enterprise system that integrates fully with the ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager and the ENERGY STAR ABS 2.0 web services (Automated Benchmarking System). With Green Certification™, the utilities can provide automated access to vital energy data from its back office systems to their building and property manager customers. This empowerment helps the building managers in quick analysis of energy consumption data and benchmarking.
Green Certification™ has two modules: Building Manager module and Administrator module.
Building Manager module
This module enables the Building and Property Manager customers of the utility to take full control of their energy usage data request process, from submission of data requests to automatic submission to ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager.
Key Features of the Building Manager module:
- Submit one time or scheduled reoccurring usage data requests for buildings
- Monitor status of data requests as they are processed within Green Certification™ and the utility’s back office
- Receive email updates when action is needed on requests
- Verify tenant lists to ensure all sub accounts are present and data is accurate
- Manage multiple buildings/properties from a single Building Manager account
- Categorize tenants by type for advanced data analysis
- Export usage data and tenant information to Microsoft Excel
- View aggregated entire building usage over billing months
- Manage ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager account information
- Submit building usage information to ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager automatically or on demand
Administrator module
This module relieves the Utility program managers on manual intensive data request processes from their customers. With this secure module, they can receive important request management information, monitor their customers’ requests and also interact on their behalf if desired.
Key Features of the Administrator module:
- Robust dashboard summary of entire system including user information, building information, and request information for Program Management
- Focused dashboard summary for Utility Account Managers of their Building Manager customers
- Allow Utility Account Managers to manage requests on behalf of Building Manager users
- Allow Building Managers to only view aggregated building usage data and not specific tenant usage data for privacy reasons
- Manage Utility back office integration by way of multiple communication strategies including secure web services and secured email polling
- Detailed and summary reporting enabling system utilization and system productivity monitoring, output to Excel and PDF.
Successfully Streamlining and Managing Energy Usage Data
A customer needed a more automated solution for handling energy data requests as requests were steadily increasing and the manual process would eventually not be able to handle the number of requests that were coming in.
