Realigning of Client’s Demand Response Program
A customer’s control software was incorrectly set up and hardware installation was delayed. Therefore, the successful execution of customer’s demand response program was impeded. Calico Energy was brought on to provide technology and process design consultation and support to assist in the realignment of the program back to a successful, operationally efficient state.
Successfully Streamlining and Managing Energy Usage Data
A customer needed a more automated solution for handling energy data requests as requests were steadily increasing and the manual process would eventually not be able to handle the number of requests that were coming in. Also due to recent legislation, this data is now available to all Building Managers at no cost; resulting in a forecasted large number of requests in the near future.
Providing Strategic Project Management and Technology Oversight
A customer faced unrealized demand response resources due to aging and failing technologies. The utility risked having unrealized demand response resources during an event and participant dissatisfaction. The determination was made to change the commercial and industrial demand response infrastructure to a strategic, modernized solution. Calico Energy provided strategic project management and technology oversight to this initiative.
